Ready to take your startup idea to the next level?
We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the fourth edition of the BoostMeUp pre-acceleration program – the national platform for the development and launch of Montenegrin startups! The program is intended for development teams and newly established companies from Montenegro that wish to accelerate the development of their startup idea and become part of the growing innovative community. It has already been successfully implemented three times and has helped the development of over 60 Montenegrin startup teams.
Support for teams worth over 130 000 EUR
The benefits for participants are numerous. In addition to five months of expert, mentoring, and infrastructural support, each of the 6 selected teams will receive 7,000 EUR to develop their idea. The three most successful startups in the final competition will also win additional financial support: (1) 15,000 EUR, (2) 10,000 EUR, and (3) 5,000 EUR, along with the development of a strategy for internationalization and business scaling.
Interested teams can apply via the online form on the official BoostMeUp program website – boostmeup.me. Applications are open from August 30th to September 30th, 2024.
Phases of the BoostMeUp vol. 4 program:
- Bootcamp: After the application period closes, we will organize a five-day intensive training during which selected teams will participate in workshops, and lectures, and work with mentors on developing their ideas. On the final day, the teams will present their ideas to a jury, selecting at least 6 ideas to participate in the BoostMeUp pre-acceleration program.
- Pre-acceleration program: A key aspect of the pre-acceleration program is the mentoring program, organized through basic, additional, and specific modules. The program will provide participants with comprehensive support through various thematic areas, focused on developing startup projects and improving their business models.
- Montenegro pitching competition: The grand finale where teams will present their developed ideas to a professional jury and all key players in the innovation ecosystem. The top three startups will be awarded a prize fund of 30,000 EUR, along with the development of a strategy for the internationalization and scaling of their business idea.

The program is led by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis, which implements the program in collaboration with key partners from the business and innovation sectors – the Science and Technology Park Montenegro, the University of Montenegro, ICT Hub Belgrade, One Montenegro, the Montenegrin Electric Enterprise, and the Environmental Protection Fund – Eko Fund. The program is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, and the Government of Montenegro.
