Applications Open for BoostMeUp Vol. 6, Offering Nearly €80,000 in Support to Montenegrin Startup Teams

28.09.2026.

Applications for the sixth edition of the BoostMeUp pre-acceleration programme are now open, with nearly €80,000 in financial support available to innovative teams from across Montenegro. The application deadline is 14 October.

BoostMeUp is designed for teams with an innovative idea, product or solution that are ready to take the next step towards the market. Over the course of the programme, participants will receive tailored support to develop and validate their ideas, test their solutions and prepare for market entry and growth.

Participants will have access to a network of more than 50 mentors and experts from Montenegro and abroad, individual work with a lead mentor, as well as opportunities to connect with infrastructure providers, companies, strategic partners and potential investors.

From idea validation to market readiness

The BoostMeUp pre-acceleration programme is structured to support teams at different stages of development – from testing whether there is a genuine market need for their idea, to refining their business model, improving their product and preparing for growth and international expansion.

The programme will begin with at least 15 teams working on validating their ideas and testing market demand. Following this initial phase, 10 teams will continue through the programme, receiving support tailored to their level of development and specific needs.

Teams that are further along and ready to pursue growth may receive up to €7,000 in development funding, while teams that are still validating their ideas may receive up to €1,000 in validation support.

Beyond financial assistance, participants will benefit from hands-on mentoring and opportunities to engage with experienced experts, companies and potential investors, helping them further develop their solutions and prepare for the next stage of their business journey.

The road to the Montenegro Pitching Competition

The programme will culminate in the Montenegro Pitching Competition, taking place in April 2027. The top three teams will have the opportunity to secure additional financial support of €15,000, €10,000 and €7,000, respectively.

BoostMeUp is open to formal and informal teams, startups, research and student teams, innovators and entrepreneurs from across Montenegro.

Applications are open until 14 October. More information about the programme and the application process is available at boostmeup.me.

BoostMeUp is led by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre Tehnopolis, with the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, the University of Montenegro, ICT Hub Belgrade, One Montenegro and the Central Bank of Montenegro as programme partners.

The programme is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation and the Government of Montenegro.
