1. Pre-incubation: This phase refers to the period in which it is necessary to validate and develop a business idea, examine the market potential, gather a team, as well as acquire certain knowledge and skills needed for an entrepreneurial venture.
2. Incubation: Tenants are in a phase where they have a validated idea in a certain way or are already present on the market. They use available resources such as office or coworking space, multimedia and meeting rooms, laboratories, and support such as mentoring, workshops and training programs to further refine and develop their business venture.
3. Virtual incubation: This type of support differs from the previous one only in that the team does not need office space but gives access to other benefits that a business incubator provides.
4. Commercial support: For those who are ready for independent business operation, but still want to stay or become part of the community, we provide all the above support on commercial terms.
5. Post-incubation: The phase in which entrepreneurs who have undergone incubation continue to grow and develop their business ventures, and support is focused on networking and pointing out new business opportunities. Also, we strive to connect new tenants with entrepreneurs who are in this phase, creating an environment in which information, knowledge and experiences are exchanged.

IEC Tehnopolis is 100% owned by the Government of Montenegro and was founded as part of the innovation infrastructure that supports entrepreneurship and development. Our focus is on providing support and the resources needed to grow your business venture, but we do not seek ownership stake in companies.

• Does IEC Tehnopolis provide direct financial support? No, IEC Tehnopolis does not provide direct financial support, but it provides several other benefits and opens opportunities for the development of your business venture.

• Is it necessary to have an already registered company? No, our business incubator program is also open to individuals who are just developing their business ideas. We will help you with the registration process and provide support during the development of your company.
