After the successful completion of the first specialist course in Pljevlja, the Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Administration, in cooperation with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis, continues the implementation of specialist training courses for professional users of plant protection products. The next training session will be held in Nikšić on 23 July at 11:00 a.m. at the premises of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis.
The training is conducted in accordance with Article 6 of the Law on Plant Protection Products, the relevant rulebooks, and the Phytosanitary Measures Programme arising from the National Action Plan for the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products for the period 2021–2026.
The specialist course aims to improve the knowledge and competencies of individuals who professionally use plant protection products. The course is free of charge and includes both theoretical and practical sessions, covering the following topics:
• Plant protection and good agricultural practices;
• Risk reduction measures;
• Storage and handling of plant protection products;
• Risks and first aid measures;
• Waste management;
• Regulations and record-keeping;
• Equipment for the application of plant protection products;
• Practical training and calculations.
At the end of the training, participants will take a test, and those who successfully pass will receive a certificate of completion.
All interested agricultural producers and professional users of plant protection products are invited to apply by completing the application form.
