CODES regional pre-acceleration program for startups

17.01.2025

As part of the CODES project, a regional pre-acceleration program for startups will launch in February, targeting participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Croatia. The program offers a unique opportunity to develop startup ideas through intensive workshops, mentorship, and international networking.

The Program Begins with a Bootcamp in Mostar

The first step of the program is a Bootcamp in Mostar, where 24 teams (eight from each country) will participate. Over the course of five days, participants will attend a series of educational workshops and work with mentors. Key topics include:

  • Fundamentals of the startup ecosystem and business model development,
  • Market research and competitive analysis,
  • Financial planning and go-to-market strategies,
  • Preparing pitch presentations.

What Does the Program Offer?

After the Bootcamp, four top teams from each country will continue with a three-month pre-acceleration program featuring intensive mentorship.

The program culminates in a final phase, where the best team participates in a six-month validation of their business idea. With ongoing mentorship, the team will have the chance to attend the prestigious PODIM Conference in Slovenia, one of the region’s most significant startup events.

Why Participate?

This program offers startup teams the chance to gain practical knowledge, refine their business models, and receive support from expert mentors. Furthermore, networking with other startups and accessing key resources can significantly accelerate the development of their ideas.
