In the period from 14 to 17 March 2022, in the premises of IEC Tehnopolis, a training was held for the staff of the partner institutions of the CROWN project, on the topic of innovation development and technology transfer.
The participants in the training, two representatives each from Simora, Intera Technology Park and IEC Tehnopolis, during the four-day training, had the opportunity to hear why the assessment of the value of intangible assets is such an important topic. Also included are the various valuation methods that exist (cost-based approach, market approach and revenue-based approach). The last part of intellectual property rights deals with factors to keep in mind when assessing intangible assets. In addition, participants had the opportunity to learn more about licensing and licensing agreements, negotiation techniques, as well as technology transfer agreements. All lectures were accompanied by case studies and practical work. The total number of simulation exercises was three. Also, participants had the opportunity to play a Digital serious game from the House of Knowledge. The purpose of this game is to use the knowledge gained during the training and built IP strategy, following a series of questions and case studies.
Lecturers at the training were Nedeljko Milosavljevic and Tamara Colic Milosavljevic, from the Center for Technology Transfer, University of Belgrade.
A seven-day study trip to Munich will be organized for the participants of the training at the end of March and the beginning of April, in order to visit relevant institutions in the field of technology transfer.
The training was organized within the CROWN project (Best Entrepreneurial Ideas for Success) which is co-financed by the ERDF and IPA II funds of the European Union.
The leading partner in the project is the Development Agency of Sisak-Moslavina County SI-MO-RA d.o.o. for Stimulating Economic Development, Consulting and Advocacy, Sisak, Croatia, while the project partners are IEC Tehnopolis and the Foundation for Innovation and Technological Development (INTERA), Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
