Representatives of Tehnopolis today met with the representatives of the Capital Market Commission in order to establish a model of joint cooperation and talk on alternative forms of financing available in Montenegro.
In addition to the presentation of the previous activities of Tehnopolis, the meeting paid special attention to the project currently being implemented by Tehnopolis – CrowdStream, financed through the Interreg Danube Transnational Program, which aims to improve the efficiency of public/private business support to innovative companies for access to a qualitative alternative financing (crowdfunding).
Bearing in mind that the problem of access to funding sources is of utmost importance for Tehnopolis in the process of building and supporting the startup ecosystem in the country, today also discussed the models of involving Tehnopolis in the drafting of the Law on Alternative Forms of Financing, which the Commission is currently working on. In this process, Tehnopolis will share its knowledge, experiences and analyzes that have already been carried out in this area, as well as offer concrete guidelines in which direction the Law needs to be adapted to small and medium-sized enterprises or start-ups, in order to create an incentive environment for business development.
