Company Herbal Montenegro from Niksic, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro, the Environmental Protection Agency and the local authorities of the Municipality of Niksic and the Municipality of Tuzi, will announce the start of the third five-year project “Promotion of good collecting practice, education and licensing of medicinal herbs and forest fruits collectors” on Wednesday, June 28, at 8:45 pm at IEC Tehnopolis’ Multimedia hall.
Education within this program will be divided into activities in Niksic starting at 9 am and education in the Municipality of Tuzi beginning at 12:30. The field visit and the practical part of the training will be realized in August on the habitats in the territory of Podgorica, Bar, Ulcinj, Municipality of Tuzi and the municipalities of Zabljak and Pluzine.
The lecturer is Mr. Slavoljub Tasic, from the Belgrade Institute “Josif Pancic” and representatives of the Association “Crnogorski pelim”, which will hold a lecture on sustainable collecting, drying and storage of medicinal plants.
