On Tuesday, 12.7.2022. In the premises of the Sisak Creative Industry Center, the final conference of the CROWN project, which was jointly implemented over the last two years by the Regional Development Agency Sisak-Moslavina County SI-MO-RA, as a leading partner, and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis and INTERA Technology Park as project partners, was held.
The conference started with welcoming speeches. Andreja Seperac, director of the Regional Coordinator of Sisak-Moslavina County, Vedran Simunovic, director of INTER Technology Park, Ivan Celjak, prefect of Sisak-Moslavina County, and Natasa Tramisak, minister of regional development and EU funds addressed to the attendees. The importance of regional and cross-border networking, as well as the creation of a foundation for the further development of the economy and business environment in the region, was emphasized.
Those who were present had the opportunity to learn about the activities and results of the CROWN project, which were guided by Nikolina Radic and Ana Bogdanovic, members of the project team. They referred to work packages, developed materials, organized events and implemented activities that, during two years, emphasized the development of entrepreneurship in Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Conference participants had the opportunity to acknowledge first-hand experience of participating in project activities presented by Josipa Bencek, one of the winners of the startup program who previously worked with her colleagues on the development of her own crowdfunding campaign. The conference program included a presentation by Nikola Niksic, who presented the state and potential of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in Sisak-Moslavina County, as well as Ales Pevac, who spoke about entrepreneurship in Slovenia.
The conference ended with the presentation of the entrepreneurship development plan in SMC and a round table where Tihomir Babic, Hrvoje Balen, Mihaela Munko and Jurica Vukovic with moderator Ivana Kuzlic Matanovic discussed about development of competitiveness and a stimulating business environment.
The conference also marks the end of the project, which was co-financed by ERDF and IPA II funds of the European Union.
