Networking, cooperation with companies from other sectors, and sharing experiences are often the most important factors of business success. These are just some of the opportunities that will be available to all those who will participate in the SmAgTech EXPO event – the first international virtual fair on the application of information and communication technologies in agriculture.
The fair is jointly organized by higher education institutions, technology parks, and companies from the region, and is funded by the European Union through the project Vitalizing ICT Relevance in Agricultural Learning (VIRAL) from the Erasmus + program. SmAgTech EXPO is a unique opportunity to gather, exchange knowledge and experiences, and make contacts for future cooperation.
The two-day program of the SmAgTech EXPO event, which will be held through a specialized online platform on Tuesday, 16th, and Wednesday 17th will include a fair and conference part intended not only for agricultural enterprises and related organizations but also for representatives of public administration, IT sector, as well as students.
The conference program includes a series of thematic lectures, presentations, and panel discussions from the world of agriculture and the application of information and communication technologies in agriculture. A special place is taken by the review of recently organized hackathons in Banja Luka, Mostar and Niksic, as a tool for promoting cooperation between students and companies through practical work.
The fair part will present companies, organizations, and related projects from different parts of Europe. Part of the fair is dedicated to promoting the engagement and employment of students through making the first contact with potential employers.
Whether you are a representative of the private, public or non-governmental sector or you are a student of one of the agricultural faculties in the region, book these dates in your calendar – SmAgTech EXPO free event is a great opportunity to make contacts, start new cooperation and find a potential employer.
