A study visit to the scientific centers in the region was completed by visiting institutions in Tirana.
Meetings were organized with representatives of the most important organizations of the startup ecosystem in this area, and the team of IEC Tehnopolis was able to obtain direct information about the support measures and funds existing in Albania.
Arjan Ymeri, business development manager at OFICINA Entrepreneurship & Innovation Lab, presented the concept they have been working for three years at the Harry Fultz Institute Complex. In addition to exchanging experiences and good practices, cooperation has been agreed through applying for calls for EU funds, while special emphasis has been placed on transfer of knowledge in the field of creation programs of acceleration and commercialization of innovations.
The possibilities for cooperation on donor projects, as well as the organization of partner events are defined with the management of PROTIK Innovation Center, while both organizations have agreed to launch joint regional initiatives in order to strengthen their own capacities and regional start-up scene.
