1. Registration and filling out the online form
To apply for our business incubator program, follow these steps:
- Click the “Apply here” button.
- Download the Guide for future tenants, which can help you fill out the Application form, and introduce you to all the procedures of the business incubator.
- Fill out the online application form with relevant information about your business, team and business idea.
- The form allows you to submit biographies of team members, presentations and other relevant documents that may help in the evaluation of your application.
After we receive your application, our team will carefully review it and inform you about the next steps in the selection process.

Download the guide1.2 Stages of preliminary analysis of candidates
Business idea and innovation: The originality, innovation, and value of the business idea for the market and users, as well as feasibility and possible scalability, are evaluated.
Team and human resources: The qualifications and credibility of the team members, their dedication and motivation, as well as the possession of the necessary skills for successful business management are valued.
Market and competition: The size and attractiveness of the market, the identification and analysis of the competition, and the existence of a clear strategy for gaining a competitive advantage are assessed.
Financial sustainability: The rate is given for the realism and elaboration of the business model, clear financial strategy and projections, and identification of sources of financing and income.
Compliance with the S3 smart specialization strategy: The matching of the business idea with the priority sectors of the S3 strategy, the potential to contribute to the national innovative strength and the possibility of cooperation with other actors in the S3 ecosystem are evaluated.
Compliance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): The contribution of the business idea to the achievement of sustainable development goals is evaluated, the focus is on sustainability and socially responsible business, and the potential for a positive impact on society and the environment.
Overall impression: The quality of the submitted application form, the validity of the business idea, the team’s need for incubation and the potential for networking with other tenants are evaluated.
Based on the previous criteria, the Commission for the evaluation of business Ideas assesses in which stage of development the idea was submitted and what kind of contract should be offered to the applicant.
2. If you are selected
After a positive evaluation, IEC Tehnopolis will offer you an adequate contract that corresponds to the level of development of your business idea and the available resources at that moment. We have several types of contracts:
Pre-incubation contract: This phase lasts up to 3+3 months and supports you in the early stages of developing your idea. During this period, we will work together to develop your concept and prepare it to move to the next phase.
Incubation contract: This phase can last up to 3 years. During incubation, you will receive comprehensive support in the development and growth of your business venture. Our team of experts will provide you with mentoring support, business consulting, access to resources and a network of partners.
Virtual incubation contract: This option also lasts up to 3 years. If you do not require office space in our incubator, but want access to all the other benefits, virtual incubation is ideal for you.
Support in commercial terms: This type of support can last up to three years and is intended for teams and companies that are already operating in the market but need further growth and support.
The post-incubation phase comes after the end of a certain contract and does not require the signing of a new one, but we continue cooperation so that you can continue to develop and improve your business venture and share your experience with new tenants.

Congratulations! You became our tenant and got the opportunity to be part of the IEC Tehnopolis community. After signing the contract, together with your team, the business incubator manager will create a support plan and a Gantt chart that will precisely plan the development of your idea. We look forward to cooperating with you and providing support in the development of your business. So far, we have supported more than 100 startups and entrepreneurs in realizing their potential.
