The Administration for Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs, in cooperation with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis, is organizing a specialist course for the training of professional users of plant protection products.
The training is being implemented in accordance with Article 6 of the Law on Plant Protection Products, relevant regulations, and the Phytosanitary Measures Program arising from the National Plan for the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products for the period 2021–2026.
The training will be held on November 17 at the premises of IEC Tehnopolis and aims to raise the level of knowledge and competence of individuals who professionally use plant protection products. The course is free of charge and includes both theoretical and practical parts, covering topics such as:
- plant protection and good agricultural practice,
- risk reduction measures,
- proper storage, handling, and use of products,
- first aid measures and waste management, as well as
- An overview of regulations and record-keeping obligations.
At the end of the training, a test will be organized, and participants who successfully pass will receive a certificate of completion.
All interested agricultural producers and users of plant protection products are invited to apply by filling out the questionnaire.
