The Administration for Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs, in cooperation with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis, is organising a specialist training course for professional users of plant protection products.
The training is delivered in accordance with Article 6 of the Law on Plant Protection Products, the relevant rulebooks and the Programme of Phytosanitary Measures arising from the National Plan for the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products for the period 2021–2026.
The training will take place on 12 October at 11 a.m. at the premises of the Agency for Development and Business Support in Cetinje, with the aim of improving the knowledge and competencies of individuals who use plant protection products professionally. The course is free of charge and includes theoretical and practical components, covering the following topics:
- Plant protection and good agricultural practice;
- Risk reduction measures;
- Storage and handling of products;
- Risks and first aid measures;
- Waste management;
- Regulations and record-keeping;
- Equipment for applying products;
- Practical training and calculations.
A test will be organised at the end of the training, and participants who pass will receive a certificate of completion.
All interested agricultural producers and users of plant protection products are invited to apply by completing the questionnaire.
