More than 9 months ago, more than 300 young people from Montenegro, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina had the opportunity to test their entrepreneurial potential through innovative tests of cognitive resourcefulness and creativity, as well as personality and cognitive abilities. The best 25 from each of the countries involved were selected to participate in an intensive business idea development program.
The program, which began in March with a joint conference and workshops for all 75 business ideas, is slowly coming to an end and the most important moment is – choosing the best ideas! After a series of training in the field of entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, intellectual property, development of business models, services and products, and traditional and alternative sources of funding, candidates from Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina spent the summer working with experienced regional mentors to overcome challenges which they faced during the development of business ideas.
For the last few weeks, they have been working with the best regional experts on the final details of their presentations that they will have on the first day of September. Namely, on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, starting at 12 o’clock, teams from Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina in front of the expert commission in the hotel Dvorac Jurjevec at Jurjevac 41, Brezane Lekenicka will be a full day event called THE FINALS: AND NOW, THE #CROWN, where the three best ideas from each country involved receive a valuable award – the preparation, implementation, and promotion of a crowdfunding campaign. This event will be a great opportunity to get to know each other and network, but also to meet potential investors and get valuable comments from regional experts on the potential of each business idea.
