Festival “Open Days of Science 2016” took place from 26th to 30th of September.
The program had five components every day from 10 am to 4 pm, as follows:
Days of robotics
In the main hall of Tehnopolis students of Mechanical Engineering, University of Montenegro, Department of Mechatronics, presented a large number of robots that won at fairs and festivals throughout the region and Europe.
Workshops – New methods of learning
Hall for industrial design was adapted for dr Gordana Medin, along with Teaching Faculty Niksic and Science and Maths Faculty from University of Montenegro, who created a workshop that presented science through multimedia digital stories, music, the play of light and shadows theater and explained physics through the invention from the Victorian era, Steampunk and pedal generator.
Virtual reality
In the meeting room, tenants of Tehnopolis used their equipment and ideas to show how virtual reality is changing science, using machines of the latest generation, 3D views and drones.
Lectures on innovation and business
During the festival, each day from 11am to 12pm different lectures for a large number of interested visitors were organized in the multimedia hall. Lectures were led by Bruno Kurtic, dr Gordana Medin, Elma Hot and Drazen Zujovic.
The event, “Secrets of China”
Confucius Institute of the University of Montenegro held classes of calligraphy, the traditional Chinese chess, taiji dance, as well as the presentation of Confucius scholarships in China for primary and secondary school.
In collaboration with Day care center for children with disabilities, on September 30th children from their institution visited Tehnopolis and participated in the workshop that dr Gordana Medin created especially for them.
