The preventive monitoring meeting of the National Erasmus + Office for the BLUEVBC project was held

A preventive monitoring meeting of the National Erasmus + Office (NEO) in Montenegro was held on Friday, June 5, 2020, at the Rector office of the University of Montenegro.

The meeting was attended by members of the working team from the University of Montenegro, the Chamber of Economy Montenegro and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis who participate in the international project entitled: “Sustainable development of BLUE economies through higher education and innovation in Western Balkan Countries” (BLUEWBC), accepted through funding under the Erasmus + program – Capacity building in higher education KA2 / 2019.

The work plan presentation and an overview of so far implemented activities were shown at the meeting, with an emphasis on the visibility of the Erasmus + program and the BLUEWBC project through a series of promotional actions in which all partners from Montenegro participated. Through the elaboration of work packages and pointing out the significant output results expected in the next period of the project, it was ascertained that the project consortium acts integrated and very entrepreneurial in organizational terms, relying on respecting the deadlines defined in the work packages.

 

It was about the equipment that is scheduled by the project and which will be installed at the University in the first half of the project. The Director of the NEO Office, Ms. Vanja Drljevic, pointed out the guidelines of the project evaluator and wished a successful continuation of work on the project related to connecting the academic community with the actors of the Blue Economy in Montenegro.

On behalf of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis, the meeting attended Aleksandar Janicic, Project Management and Entrepreneurship Development Manager, and Anja Grabovica, Assistant for Business Incubator Development Activities, who presented the activities that Tehnopolis has had so far in the project, as well as the results achieved within it.
