The program details of the second edition of the Cross Border Coworking Conference are revealed

There is less than a month left until the conference, which for the second year in a row will bring together local, regional and world experts ready to share knowledge and experiences about digital nomads and the trend that has been changing the way of thinking about remote work for some time. This year’s Cross Border Coworking Conference will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Jahorina on Monday, October 10th and 11th 2022.

The conference will begin on Monday evening, when the participants will have the opportunity to get to know each other with relaxed socializing and speed networking. The main part of the conference program is planned for Tuesday. Than the region’s potential for attracting digital nomads will be presented. Everything will start with welcome speeches and a short introduction, in which the moderator Tamara Kojic will introduce the conference program in detail to the participants. After that Sofia Lindman will present the concept of remote work, the needs of digital nomads and the possibilities of attracting this target group in a keynote speech. The program will continue with a panel discussion in which Orhan Gazibegovic, Filip Cicovic and Marija Jovic will talk with moderator Larisa Halilovic about everything that the region offers or can offer to digital nomads. Milovan Novakovic and Senad Santic will talk about cooperation in the region and the joint attraction of this target group through a panel discussion moderated by Jan de Jong. After a short break, Rowena Hennigan will introduce attendees through a workshop to ways of encouraging the region to attract digital nomads, and Pauline Roussel will talk about coworking spaces as tools for the development of local communities. Anna Maria Kochanska will also talk about the local community, who will point out why it is important to connect digital nomads with the community where they temporarily live. Max Filatov, Nick Wilger, and digital nomads who reside or have resided in the region will discuss the experiences of digital nomads in the region with moderator Dean Kuchel. The program will end with a presentation by Jon Hormaetxea, who will present the co-living space Sun and Co. as an example of good practice, and with Tamara Kojic’s brief review of everything said during the rich conference program.

The opening of applications for this conference is expected as early as next week, and the organizers are already inviting all digital nomads, decision makers, tourism workers and those individuals who want to contribute to the development of the region in this regard, to reserve these dates and plan their arrival in Jahorina!

Cross Border Coworking Conference 2022 is organized by INTERA Technology Park, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis and Proaktiv through the Cross Border Coworking Cooperation project financed by the Western Balkans Fund and the European Union within the Call for Regional Project Proposals “Support to the Promotion of Civil Society regional activities in the Western Balkans”. The organization of the conference was supported by the companies Salto Systems, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore and ZenDev, and the media sponsors are Dnevni avaz, Bljesak, Nezavisne novine, Večernji list, RDV and Radio Sarajevo.
