Support for Digital and Green Transformation of SMEs, Mid-Sized Companies, and the Public Sector in Montenegro and the EU:
- The focus will be on fields such as AI, IoT, blockchain, data analytics, HPC, and robotics. Leveraging the specialized expertise and advanced infrastructure of consortium partners, MonteEDIH will offer a comprehensive service package on an open, transparent, and non-discriminatory basis, including financial consulting, knowledge and technology transfer, pre-investment assessments for technology integration, and testing and demonstration activities for digital and physical products.
Integration into the EU EDIH Network:
- This will offer competitiveness to Montenegrin companies and public entities by providing access to advanced services and encouraging connections across Europe. It will ensure comprehensive support, including expertise beyond the immediate framework of MonteEDIH. Additionally, MonteEDIH will support companies and public stakeholders from other regions and countries represented by other EDIHs who need its expertise. Activities to achieve this goal include developing strategic partnerships with other EDIHs for resource and expertise sharing, as well as active participation in EU-wide fairs and industry events to showcase MonteEDIH’s unique offerings and establish direct links with potential partners and clients.
Enhancement of Internal Consortium Capacities to Address the Needs of Local SMEs, Mid-Sized Companies, and Public Sector Organizations Regarding Their Digital and Green Transformation:
- Activities will include:
- Networking with other EDIHs and digital centers to facilitate the exchange of best practices and specialized knowledge, connecting companies within their value chains, linking public administrations with companies providing e-government technologies, and fostering collaboration with innovators and early adopters.
- Participation in support activities offered by the Digital Transformation Accelerator (DTA), such as networking, educational programs, and capacity-building events like “Train the Trainer” programs.
Specific Goals of the Project:

- Implement the “test-before-invest” program, enabling at least 150 companies to trial new AI, blockchain, IoT, HPC, and robotics technologies in their operations.
- Successfully help at least 30 companies secure funding for their digital transformation projects, with a total of at least €5 million in additional investments activated within four years.
- Integrate at least 100 entities into the network, enabling at least 30 major collaboration projects among members.
- Develop formal partnerships and collaboration projects with at least 10 other EDIHs, focusing on shared goals such as technology exchange, joint events, and research initiatives.
- Enhance the capacity of at least 20 MonteEDIH staff members through active participation in DTA activities and the implementation of a staff exchange program with other EDIHs.
