IEC Tehnopolis invites innovative companies from Montenegro to apply for a study visit “Taste of Europe” which will be held in Bari (Italy) in December from 15th to 17th, 2021.
Who can apply?
We are looking for representatives of ten innovative companies from Montenegro, who are interested in the topic of urban air mobility, in terms of an innovative approach to urban, suburban, and interurban transport of people and goods. In this context, applications can be submitted by those interested in technology development in the following areas:
- artificial intelligence;
- data processing;
- smart and sustainable transport.
The areas of special focus are:
- automatic flights and unmanned aerial vehicles;
- transport control;
- development of infrastructure for urban air mobility (vertiports, drone ports);
- precision agriculture;
- supervision over the construction of large facilities and infrastructure projects;
- securing large facilities.
The study visit aims to exchange knowledge and experiences of innovative companies from Italy and Montenegro, through participation in B2B meetings, introduction to development trends, innovations and capacities of the cross-border aviation system, conversation with leading experts in this field in order to improve their own capacities and achieve possible cross-border cooperation.
What is provided?
As part of the study visit, IEC Tehnopolis covers the costs related to:
- Participation in the program – presentations, visit the DTA Technology Aviation District, networking with innovative companies from Italy (B2B meetings).
- Air transport on the route Podgorica – Bari – Podgorica.
- Local transfer to Bari.
- Bed and breakfast accommodation.

Note: The visit will be organized by Covid-19 measures related to travel from Montenegro to Italy, which may result in a change in the date of the visit, as well as additional costs borne by the participants in terms of PCR / BAT testing.
The visit is organized within the project Strengthening key space technology for smart transport monitoring systems – SkEye, co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg IPA CBC program Italy – Albania – Montenegro.
