Representative of Tehnopolis Miljana Pekovic attended today’s training for project writing for the EU program Horizon 2020, organized by the Ministry of Science in cooperation with the European Union at the Centreville Hotel in Podgorica. At the very beginning, the Minister of Science Sanja Damjanovic addressed the participants and expressed her satisfaction with the great interest in the event and pointed out the importance of networking, both internationally and within the country.
About 100 participants from different sectors take part in the seminar, as the H2020 program provides opportunities for projects to faculties as well as businesses, state bodies and civil society organizations. The program has 3 main pillars, such as: excellent science, leadership in the economy, science for social challenges, while horizontal priorities are related to the spread of excellence in less developed environments and science in the society.
Two-day trainers are representatives of the Center for Social Innovation from Vienna – Elke Dall and Phillip Brugner, while some of the key topics are: Horizon 2020 – Possibilities for participation in Horizon 2020 calls for projects • H2020 package for the “broadening” of the country (in the scientific view of a less developed country) • Preparation and submission of project proposals • Successful projects from Montenegro • Financial issues: How to budget a project • Practical part: questions and answers of discussions about concrete project ideas or concepts for participant projects.
