From November 19 to 20, 2024, a meeting and training session within the RTIT>> project, in which IPC Tehnopolis serves as the lead partner, was held at the IEC Tehnopolis premises.
This two-day event brought together experts from a consortium of 12 project partners and one associated strategic partner to discuss technology transfer, innovation policies, and developing an action plan to enhance innovation, with a special focus on materials and material technologies. The program included interactive workshops and presentations on European innovation policies and best practices.
The event was opened with a welcome address by Mr. Djordjije Malovic, Executive Director of IEC Tehnopolis, who emphasized the importance of collaboration in advancing technology transfer. Participants attended a presentation titled “The Future of Technology Transfer,” delivered by Kathrin Singer from the partner organization Bayern Innovative, which highlighted new trends and strategies in the field. A discussion on European industrial innovation policies raised new questions and ideas, guided by a keynote presentation from Giulia Del Brenne, Head of Department at the European Commission.
On the first day, participants discussed models of technology transfer, analyzed the methodological framework for developing the action plan, and engaged in capacity alignment sessions to create synergies between research and industry. Interactive workshops provided a detailed overview of tools for piloting projects and practical implementation strategies.
The second day focused on strategic management, financial planning, and communication, alongside defining plans for the project’s next phases. Special attention was given to developing tools and methodologies for enhancing technology transfer.
The meeting underscored the RTIT>> consortium’s commitment to strengthening innovation networks, improving cross-sector collaboration, and boosting industrial competitiveness in the Danube region, laying the foundation for further cooperation aligned with European and regional innovation strategies.
The project is implemented with the support of the Danube Region Program.
