Strengthening of the startup ecosystem in the Western Balkan region – Representatives of Tehnopolis on capacity building meeting for hub managers in Vienna

The first capacity building meeting for hub managers, organized by the Regional Foreign Trade Promotion Fund – GIZ/ORF FT, began today in Vienna. The two-day meeting was organized under the project “Strengthening the Startup Ecosystem in the Western Balkans” where Tehnopolis is one of the partners. In the forthcoming period, as part of this project WB6 Startup Academy will be launched, within which Tehnopolis will lead Montenegrin startups.

The key topics of the meeting were: creation of a network of mentors in the countries of the region, ways of financing and selection of mentors, as well as the importance of cooperation and creation of partnerships with government institutions, corporations and universities. In addition, hub managers will be able to learn more about alternative sources of funding for startups – crowdfunding, and within this topic, representatives of Tehnopolis will exhibit in the panel and share their experience in this field with the participants.
