Representatives of Tehnopolis together with tenants of the business incubator of IEC Tehnopolis, partners from the Ministry of Economy of Montenegro and representatives of the start-up community actively participate in the activities during the study visit to Wiener Neustadt (Austria). The study visit was organized by Con Plus Ultra within the CrowdStream project from 5 to 6 September 2018.
As a part of this visit, our representatives will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with representatives of the European Crowdfunding Network (ECN) and bearers of successful crowdfunding campaigns and projects from Austria, attend the presentation of the “Center for Technology and Research” and attend the event “Danube Crowd Day ” in Austria, where key players from this area will be present.
In addition to familiarizing with the development of crowdfunding in Austria and the Danube region, the aim of the study visit was also to familiarize with the models of support provided by public institutions for crowdfunding initiatives in Austria, as well as exchange of experiences and discussions on the possibilities for improving the framework conditions for crowdfunding in the Danube region and in Montenegro. The special significance of this activity is the possibility of exchanging experiences on the legal framework in this area in Austria, as the drafting of the Law on Alternative Financing Models is under way in Montenegro.
