The BoostMeUp program, implemented by IEC Tehnopolis, provides young teams with what is often crucial at the very beginning of their journey — mentorship support and a framework that encourages creativity and social responsibility.
The company One continuously pushes the boundaries of its role within the community, and by supporting the BoostMeUp story, it confirms that technology only reaches its full meaning when it serves people. This is reflected in the stories of three teams whose ideas span the creative industries, tourism, and housing fields in which imagination becomes a tool for real change.
Black Mountain Brigands – Tribute in Blood: Montenegrin History as a Global Video Game
In a video game industry dominated by imaginary worlds and fictional stories, the team Black Mountain Brigands decided to tell the history of their own country. Their project, Tribute in Blood, is a narrative RPG set in Montenegro at the end of the 18th century.
Unlike dominant narratives in the genre, it relies on real historical events. The story takes place during the rule of Petar I Petrović Njegoš, when Montenegro was surrounded by the interests of great powers and internal tribal conflicts.
“Our story resembles Game of Thrones, but with one key difference — this really happened. The player doesn’t just follow history, but actively shapes it. With every decision, they write new pages of our past,” emphasizes Savo Đorojević, a member of the Black Mountain Brigands team.
“We see BoostMeUp and IPC Tehnopolis as modern-day patrons. We come from the world of creativity, but through this program we gained structure, mentorship support, and market understanding — something without which pioneering projects can hardly come to life,” says Đorojević.
“One is a pioneer in the development of telecommunications in Montenegro. We believe that, as such, this network can recognize the importance of another pioneering venture and support its entry into the market.”
In the end, the creator adds that there is also a dream that users of Montenegro’s first telecom operator might one day find this very special video game — the first to place Montenegro’s own story at the center of its narrative — among the services offered by the One network.
ATW²: Smart Travel Guided by Local Stories
The 7ATW² team, represented by Pavle Dejanović, is developing an AI travel guide app to make travel simpler and more meaningful. It combines artificial intelligence and location engineering to provide users, in real time, with personalized information and local stories about the places they visit.
“Our idea is for travel to stop being a logistical stress and become an experience. Through personalized, educational, and locally relevant stories, users gain an entirely new way of discovering destinations,” explains Dejanović.
Participation in the BoostMeUp program enabled the team to transform their idea into a market-ready product. “We have laid stable foundations and begun further market placement of the application.”
They see One as a strategic partner, particularly because of its role as a telecom operator during the tourist season. “We see room for collaboration through integrating the app with tourism offers and creating additional value for users.”
Stanarko: Digital Security in the Housing Market
Stanarko is a digital platform that improves the long-term rental process by simply and efficiently connecting tenants and property owners. Founders Balša Vukićević and Stefan Kostić start from real market problems — insecurity, time loss, and lack of trust.
“Stanarko digitalizes the entire process, saves time, and brings security to both tenants and landlords. Lower commissions, contracts, an AI advisor, and the option to report maintenance issues make property management faster and more efficient,” the founders explain.
As a team in an early stage of development, they see BoostMeUp as an important validation of their idea. “The program provided us with mentorship support, practical workshops, and networking opportunities, which helped us further shape our business model.”
They recognize the support of One as particularly significant in the early stages of development. “We see One as a brand that continuously supports the startup community and opens space for technological and promotional collaboration.”
