IEC Tehnopolis with the support of One: New solutions for digital security and sustainable construction

06.03.2026

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis continues to deliver concrete results by supporting innovative teams that develop solutions with clear social and market potential. Through the BoostMeUp program and the support of the company One, two new teams are presenting projects aimed at strengthening digital security and improving standards in the construction industry.

VirtuGuardians: Protecting trust in digital communication

In an era of rapidly advancing artificial intelligence and increasingly sophisticated digital misuse, the VirtuGuardians team is developing an application that can recognize in real time during a phone call whether the speaker’s voice is authentic or artificially generated.

This solution addresses the growing problem of AI technology misuse, especially in the context of fraud and voice manipulation, to strengthen trust in digital communication.

“Our vision is to protect users and strengthen trust in digital communication, especially at a time when it is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish what is real from what is artificial,” said Anđela Raičević, team leader of VirtuGuardians.

The team describes the support from IEC Tehnopolis and the BoostMeUp program as a crucial stage of development.

“From day one, we had expert guidance and resources that helped us turn our idea into a concrete solution,” Raičević added.

At One, they recognize a partner that understands modern digital challenges and the importance of security in telecommunications.

“The One network is more than an operator — One is a brand that invests in the community and supports innovations that improve digital security and quality of life,” the VirtuGuardians team stated.

FasadeX: Faster, more efficient, and predictable building renovation

The second team brings innovation to the construction industry. FasadeX is a rapid-installation system of thermo-decorative panels that simplifies and accelerates façade renovation, addressing three common challenges: the lack of contractor availability at the desired time, unpredictable weather conditions, and the risk that the final appearance will not meet the investor’s expectations.

The solution enables fast, clean, and technically predictable installation, while improving the building’s energy efficiency and ensuring a long-lasting aesthetic result. This provides building owners and contractors with a reliable renovation model, with lower operational risk and better cost control.

“Our goal is for FasadeX to become the standard for fast, clean, and predictable façade renovation — a solution that brings more warmth, lower energy bills, and long-lasting aesthetics, with significantly less uncertainty during construction works,” said Anika Vilotić, a member of the FasadeX team.

The support of IEC Tehnopolis, the BoostMeUp program, and the company One as a partner enabled the team to further improve their technical solution and direct it toward market application, with a clearly defined business model and scaling plan.

Through its partnership with IEC Tehnopolis, One confirms its strategic commitment to be more than a telecommunications operator — a reliable partner for innovations that contribute to a safer, more efficient, and technologically advanced society.
