Successful finish of the study visit to Bulgaria: Two of Montenegrin girls as members of the winning team

A tenday study visit to Bulgaria, which was an integral part of the project called „Supporting Female Youth from BiH and MNE in entrepreneurship, employment and leadership in ICT – FY4ICT“, has been successfully finished.
Nine girls had a chance to participate in a workshop called „Enhancing competitiveness of the Bulgarian and the EU economy through development of modern and working skills in the ICT/entrepreneurship sector“, with the support of our center. Besides the educational part, these future female entrepreneurs had the chance to see some significant cultural and historical landmarks of Sofia.


Upon arrival in Sofia, Yana Dalekova, the representative of the organization which hosted the visit (Bulgarian center of women in Technology – BCWT), welcomed the participants. Dalekova presented the program of the visit and after that, Elitsa Kostova, the career development consultant, held a workshop focused on getting to know the girls through out games, personal entrepreneurial profile development and personal vision of the participants as female entrepreneurs. The participants had some other workshops such as the workshop about the micro:bit, a new pocket computer which enables coding, editing and using various parts of hardware over software; the workshop about the sustainable energy sources; interactive workshops Appiventor 1 and 2.


The participants learned many things about start-ups, worked on the development of a specific business idea and business model, and developed apps and internet pages for their own businesses. Five business ideas were represented by the participants. Those are: Liveabetes, Zebra, Upractice, reZen and Taki Taki.


Milica Blecic and Marijana Jovovic were members of the winning team that presented the reZen idea.
The sponsor of this project was INTERA Technological Park and the partners on the project were: IEC Tehnopolis, Insitute of contemporary technologies of Montenegro, Budva Municipality, Banja Luka inovational center, Bulgarian center for women in technology and Vedoma. The project was funded by EU through the Erasmus program.
