The first edition of BIT Problem First, an eight-day educational and mentoring program designed for individuals and teams in the earliest stages of developing innovative startup ideas, has been completed.
BIT Problem First is one of the programs of the IEC Tehnopolis Business Incubator, aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge, tools, and mentorship needed to properly define and validate a problem before developing a solution.
A total of 12 individuals and teams with innovative ideas from various fields applied through the public call. During the eight intensive days of the program, participants took part in interactive workshops, hands-on exercises, and a mentoring process based on modern methodologies such as Design Thinking, Jobs To Be Done, and The Mom Test.
The program placed special emphasis on understanding customer needs, conducting interviews with potential users, testing key assumptions, and formulating a clearly defined and validated problem. Through this process, participants gained practical knowledge and hands-on tools that provide a solid foundation for the further development of their ideas.
The program concluded with a Pitch Day, during which participants presented the results of their research, shared the key insights they had gained, and outlined the next steps in the development of their startup projects.
Through BIT Problem First, participants acquired everything they need to confidently continue developing their ideas—from proven methodologies and expert mentorship to a clear understanding of the problem they aim to solve and practical guidance for further validation and the development of innovative solutions.
