Today, the fair titled “Texpo: Inspire, Create, Innovate, Develop” was opened at IEC Tehnopolis. This fair provides an opportunity for all interested parties to explore the possibilities offered by modern technology, including 3D printing, robotics, CNC, and VR technology.
The event was officially opened by the Executive Director of IEC Tehnopolis, Djordjije Malovic, who expressed his satisfaction with the organization of such an event. The fair marks a perfect introduction to the opening of Science and Innovation Days in Podgorica.
“It is a special honor for me to open this mini-fair today, which serves as a teaser for a much larger and more significant fair that could become a tradition in Nikšić in the coming years. I hope that next year, in a larger space, we will showcase all the technologies you will have the opportunity to see today on a smaller scale. I want to take this opportunity to thank our regional and Montenegrin partners who helped plant this seed, and with whom we will develop something in the coming years that we will be particularly proud of”, said Malovic.
Mr. Malovic thanked the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation, as well as the Municipality of Niksic, for their continuous support of the development of the innovation ecosystem, not only today but throughout the year. He also acknowledged the IEC Tehnopolis team for initiating the idea of organizing the fair and successfully bringing it to life.
The Texpo fair aims to promote advanced technologies and foster interest in their application in everyday life and work. The fair features local and regional partners of IPC Tehnopolis, including INTERA Technology Park Mostar, FabLab Sarajevo, Five Group (Five G), 3D Republika, Dizart Sarajevo, New Additive, and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Podgorica, as well as TechLab Tehnopolis. They will present a wide range of innovative possibilities through brief presentations and demonstrations.
The fair is intended for students and school teams, entrepreneurs and startups, the FabLab and maker space community, companies and corporations, educational and research institutions, artists and designers, engineers and technical experts, and anyone interested in modern technologies.
The doors of IEC Tehnopolis will be open to all visitors today (September 23) until 3 PM and tomorrow (September 24) from 9 AM to 3 PM. If planning to visit in groups, it is necessary to announce attendance via email at [email protected] or by phone at 067 308 805.
Texpo is one of the activities organized by IEC Tehnopolis as part of Science and Innovation Days, which will be held from September 23 to 27 this year under the slogan “Science and Innovation at Your Fingertips.”
