International book and education fair in Podgorica, which was held this year under the slogan “Montenegro reads”, was completed on May 16th.
Representatives of Tehnopolis, project manager Jelena Djedovic and associate Stefan Jocovic, were on the stand of the Ministry of Science, which is the first time this year as a part of the Book Fair, not only as a sponsor, but also as a participant. Minister of Science, dr Sanja Vlahovic, visited the fair on May 11th and stressed the importance of books in today’s era of information and communication technology, reminding us that, thanks to books that are timeless and indestructible, we are where we are today and that the book itself represents the foundation of civilization and the modern, technological progress of society.
The Ministry of Science, in cooperation with the Foundation for the Promotion of Science PRONA and Natural History Museum of Montenegro, created workshops in the field of physics, mathematics and chemistry, as well as quizzes and virtual tours through museums. Also visitors of the stand were able to get free tickets to visit the Natural History Museum of Montenegro.
