Innovative Entrepreneurial Center Tehnopolis supported the realization of the international workshop “Multidisciplinary Innovations in Bioinformatics”, which is taking place from July 1st to 8th in Podgorica, organized by the European Association of Electrical Engineering Students (EESTEC).
At the event that brought together about 30 students, out of which 15 were from prestigious world universities, business incubator manager of Tehnopolis, Jelena Djedovic, presented the possibilities of support that this institution offers to future entrepreneurs, as well as other activities that have so far been implemented in that direction. In addition, the participants had the opportunity to learn something new in the field of bioinformatics, to get acquainted with the current innovations of BIO-ICT, to exchange their experiences with other students, and to get acquainted with attractive tourist locations in Montenegro.
The workshop was organized with the aim of presenting the latest research in the field of bio-informatics, promoting the customs and culture of Montenegro, exchanging experiences of our and foreign students about the programs offered at European universities, and establishing cooperation with educational institutions all over Europe.
EESTEC (Electrical Engineering Students’ European Association) is a non-profit non-governmental organization created by electrical engineering students for electrical engineering students throughout Europe. It was founded in Eindhoven in the Netherlands in 1986. Today, EESTEC is present in 28 countries and 53 universities with about 4,000 members.
