Startup Week, part of the BoostMeUp 5.0 program, has successfully concluded, once again confirming the importance of supporting the development of the startup community in Montenegro. Over seven days of intensive work, workshops, and mentoring sessions, participants had the opportunity to improve their ideas, develop business models, and prepare for the final event — Demo Day, where 22 teams presented their projects.
The teams were evaluated by a seven-member expert jury composed of representatives from partner institutions, investors, and experts in innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology. Based on their evaluations, the 10 best teams earned their place in the BoostMeUp 5.0 pre-acceleration program, where they will receive financial and mentoring support for further development of their ideas.
A special opportunity was awarded to the top-ranked teams — “VicIT” and “Danak u Krvi”, who will participate in the prestigious Slush conference in Helsinki, one of the world’s most renowned events bringing together startups, investors, and technology leaders from across the globe.
In the coming months, the selected teams will undergo an intensive mentoring and educational process focused on prototype development, market validation, and completing all phases of product development in preparation for market entry. The teams will present their progress at the final Demo Day in April, where the top three teams will have the opportunity to win additional financial support of €7,000, €10,000, and €15,000 for further idea development.
