GAMING TOURNAMENT AT TEHNOPOLIS BROUGHT TOGETHER COMPETITORS FROM MONTENEGRO AND THE REGION
A great atmosphere, exciting matches and intense competition among participants from the region marked the one-day Gaming Tournament held at the House of Digital Revolution in Nikšić. The event brought together dozens of gaming enthusiasts, who competed throughout the day in EA FC26, Clash Royale and Assetto Corsa, as well as arcade games. The event also attracted attention beyond Montenegro’s borders, as demonstrated by the arrival of participants from Serbia, who travelled to Nikšić specifically for the competition. Their participation further contributed to the competitive atmosphere and demonstrated the potential of such events to connect the gaming community at the regional level.

The greatest competitive excitement came from EA FC26 and Clash Royale. In the EA FC26 tournament, Draško Cerović took first place, receiving a cash prize of 700 euros. Aleksa Đurišić finished second and won 300 euros, while Pavle Vuković took third place and received a prize of 200 euros. In Clash Royale, Mateja Milošević took first place and won 500 euros. Stefan Strugar finished second and received 200 euros, while Saša Mišković took third place and won 100 euros. Competitors also tested their skills in virtual racing: Miloš Mašanović achieved the best time in Assetto Corsa, while Maksim Ristić achieved the best ranking in the arcade games. In accordance with the tournament’s prize fund, they were awarded mobile phones.

A total of 2,000 euros in cash prizes and two mobile phones were awarded to the best participants, further rewarding the effort, competitive spirit and skills demonstrated by the competitors throughout the day.
“The Gaming Tournament is part of a series of activities through which IEC Tehnopolis, during its anniversary year, brings together different communities and generations and opens up topics related to innovation, technology, creativity and the development of new skills. Through programmes intended for young people, entrepreneurs, creatives and the wider community, the anniversary becomes not only an opportunity to reflect on the results achieved so far, but also to create new experiences and connections that will shape the next period of Tehnopolis’ development,” said Jelka Čvorović, Marketing Manager at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.
The tournament was organised through the cooperation of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis with the Montenegrin Electronic Sports Association, FiveG Group and Nikšić 2030 – European Capital of Culture, as another in a series of events through which Tehnopolis, during its anniversary year, brings together new communities and introduces young people to modern technologies and digital culture.
