The previous year, through the iNnovaNet project, Tehnopolis provided valuable equipment for mechatronics and robotics to the Secondary Vocational School from Niksic. The recently held “Days of Science and Innovation 2023” festival was an ideal opportunity to present the benefits of using this equipment to the general public.
One of the most significant achievements of this project is certainly the equipping of the cabinet for robotics and mechatronics in the Secondary Vocational School in Niksic. These offices have become a center of innovation and creativity for high school students and professors. In the past period, students had the opportunity to learn about an innovative and multidisciplinary approach that combines knowledge from the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, IT and management. The equipment handed over to the school, such as a 3D printer, a CNC machine, educational kits for robotics and mechatronics, a micro solar power plant, a micro wind power plant and smart home sensors, allowed the students to develop their skills and creativity.
This year’s festival “Days of Science and Innovation 2023”, in which this school also took part, is an indication that the handing over of equipment was purposeful, so this generation of students showed exceptional results in practice, thanks above all to their enormous effort and commitment. The students of the Vocational High School, together with their professors, presented impressive mini-projects that they created using modern equipment and devices that they received through the iNnovaNet project. Their mini-projects in the field of robotics, microcontrollers, smart installations, alternative energy sources, CNC technology and 3D printing attracted the attention of numerous visitors.
With this project, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis and its partners have proven their commitment to education and support for young talents. The equipment given to the school is not only widely used but also inspires students to dream harder and more creatively, making them future leaders in the field of technology and innovation.
The iNnovaNet project was implemented in cooperation with the Zenica Development Agency Zeda (B&H), Nova Gradiska Industrial Park (CRO) and City of Gradiska (B&H), and was financed through the INTERREG IPA CBC Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro program.
