The ten most promising startup teams continue their development through BoostMeUp vol.4

22.10.2024

After the successful completion of the Bootcamp phase of the BoostMeUp pre-acceleration program, 10 innovative teams were selected to continue their development journey through the next phases of the Program. The teams were chosen by a seven-member jury after careful evaluation, with the most promising solutions being selected. These teams will receive support from the program, which includes financial aid, as well as comprehensive mentoring and technical assistance.

The top six teams will each receive financial support of 7,000 EUR, along with non-financial support that includes a five-month mentoring program, access to innovative laboratories, coworking spaces, and additional resources for development. Below, we present the teams that received this support:

  1. AI Counter – A universal flow fish counter based on artificial intelligence, allowing precise measurement of the number, weight, and general condition of fish in fish farms.
  2. AIHeal – An advanced healthcare system based on artificial intelligence, providing faster and more efficient patient diagnosis and treatment.
  3. Sentiment Scope – A text analysis software using artificial intelligence to analyze comments and automatically moderate content.
  4. SafeBox – An innovative solution for tourists visiting beaches, in the form of a small box that provides secure storage for valuables.
  5. Sorriso – A platform for dental tourism that connects international patients with dental clinics at affordable destinations.
  6. Wine & AI – A platform for optimizing production processes in winemaking through data analysis and advanced AI-based solutions.

Additionally, four more teams received non-financial support, which includes mentoring and access to key resources:

  1. Snaptronics – A combination of hardware and software tools designed to enhance the learning of digital electronics through interactive lessons.
  2. Starko – An AI-based platform that manages business processes, customer support, and product management.
  3. BOQO – An innovative project integrating modern technologies into traditional construction materials, creating translucent fiber-cement panels.
  4. UrbanView – A web platform for the centralization and visualization of urban and architectural data, aiming to improve planning and decision-making in urban development.

During the five-month pre-acceleration program, all ten teams will work on further developing their ideas, supported by mentors and access to advanced tools. The program will traditionally conclude with a grand finale, where the teams will have the opportunity to win one of three cash prizes – 15,000 EUR, 10,000 EUR, and 5,000 EUR. Additionally, strategies for internationalization and scaling of their business models will be developed for all winning teams.

All teams that participated in the Bootcamp, regardless of whether they entered the BoostMeUp program, can rely on support from the Tehnopolis Business Incubator.

The program is led by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis, implemented in collaboration with key partners from the business and innovation sectors – the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, the University of Montenegro, ICT Hub Belgrade, One Company, the Electric Power Industry of Montenegro, and the Environmental Protection Fund – Eco Fund. The program is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation, and the Government of Montenegro.
