19.11.2018

The first day of training for representatives of institutions and organizations that support the development of business in Montenegro was held today in Tehnopolis in order to improve capacities to support users seeking alternative sources of financing, with focus on crowdfunding.

During the first day of training, participants were able to get acquainted with the basic principles of crowdfunding, market characteristics and investment opportunities, as well as the participants in this process, presented by Aleksandar Janičić, manager for project activities and development of entrepreneurship, and Jasmina Mučalica, project assistant.

Additionally, participants gained knowledge and skills for establishing new and developing existing models of startup support and SMEs interested in alternative financing in favor of the development of Montenegrin economic ecosystems.

Trainings are held as part of the project CROWDfunding to mainSTREAM innovation – CrowdStream, on which Tehnopolis is a partner. Goal of the project is to improve the efficiency of public / private business support for innovative enterprises to access qualitative alternative financing (crowdfunding) to encourage the development of potential for innovation in the Danube region. The project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg Danube Transnational Program.
