Twenty innovative ideas have been selected for participation in the BoostMeUp program

We are pleased to announce that 20 innovative startup ideas have been selected to participate in this year’s BoostMeUp Bootcamp. Over the past month, 54 teams applied to the BoostMeUp pre-acceleration program, but only a portion were chosen to take part in the Bootcamp, which is a key element of the program. During the Bootcamp, the selected teams will compete to continue their journey toward success and secure a place in the pre-acceleration program. The Bootcamp will be held from October 14 to 18 at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis, to provide participants with the essential skills, knowledge, and resources needed for the further development of their startup projects.

During the five-day intensive training, teams will have the opportunity to work with mentors and engage in expert-led sessions to develop their business models and learn how to position them in the market. They will also get acquainted with Montenegro’s startup ecosystem, present their ideas through short pitches, and participate in workshops covering topics such as design thinking, agile methodologies, idea validation, and business plan creation.

On the fifth day of the Bootcamp, special attention will be given to preparation for Demo Day, where teams will present their projects before a panel of experts. The most promising ideas will be selected to continue their development through the five-month program, receiving both financial and non-financial support, as well as the opportunity to bring their ideas to the global market.

This comprehensive approach to preparing startup teams not only provides technical and mentorship support but also builds the capacity for further development of Montenegrin startups and strengthens the innovation community through team interaction and collaboration.

The program is led by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis, in collaboration with key partners from the business and innovation sectors, including the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, the University of Montenegro, ICT Hub Belgrade, One Company, the Electric Power Industry of Montenegro, and the Environmental Protection Fund – Eco Fund. The program is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation and the Government of Montenegro.
