IEC Tehnopolis is organizing a one-day workshop titled “Additive and advanced manufacturing technologies and Digitalization of production” as part of the AMTECH project. The workshop will take place on September 30, 2024, in Nikšić, at the premises of Tehnopolis. It will bring together experts, innovators, representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, the R&D sector, as well as other key stakeholders in the aerospace and pharmaceutical industries.
This event aims to showcase the opportunities offered by additive and advanced manufacturing technologies, with a special focus on the pharmaceutical and aerospace industries, while enabling the exchange of experiences and best practices among participants from Montenegro, Italy, and Albania.
The workshop will feature several thematic sessions led by leading experts in additive manufacturing, including Svetozar Kolesar, owner, and director of 3D Republika, Marko Kostov, a technology development expert at 3D Republika, and Dr. Miloš Milošević, head of the Rapid Prototyping Center at the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about innovative technologies, patenting processes, and best practices from the region and beyond.
In addition to interactive lectures, the program includes mentoring sessions, group work, and discussions to allow participants to develop ideas for applying these technologies in their industries.
We invite all interested parties to confirm their participation by September 23, 2024, via email at [email protected].
AMTECH (A cross-border initiative for Additive Manufacturing Innovation and Integration) is a project co-financed by the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III). The project’s main goal is to help small and medium-sized enterprises in Italy, Albania, and Montenegro improve their skills and knowledge in additive manufacturing technology. The project supports SMEs in making faster design changes, reducing production times, and quickly responding to market demands, even in traditional sectors. It promotes the exchange of knowledge and training activities to spread awareness of additive manufacturing processes within the IPA region. The project is implemented by IEC Tehnopolis in cooperation with the IMAST – District on the engineering of polymeric and composite materials and structures – S.C. A.R.L. from Italy (lead partner), Regional Development Agency of Molise Region – Sviluppo Italia Molise S.p.A. from Italy, and PROEPORT Albania Association.
