The exhibition “Dolphin is My Name” was officially opened today in the premises of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis, organized by IEC Tehnopolis in collaboration with the Natural History Museum of Montenegro. This exhibition represents a special segment in marking this year’s “Science and Innovation Days 2023” festival.

The Executive Director of IEC Tehnopolis, Djordjije Malovic, emphasized that the exhibition organized by our Center, in cooperation with the Natural History Museum, contributes to the Science and Innovation Days 2023 festival. “Tehnopolis continues in this way to support the local community when it comes to introducing new technologies on which this exhibition is based”, Mr. Malovic noted.

Natalija Cadjenovic, the director of the Natural History Museum of Montenegro, highlighted that considering the ongoing Science and Innovation Days 2023, it is no coincidence that such an event is organized in IEC Tehnopolis. “We thank IEC Tehnopolis, which, by co-organizing with the Natural History Museum, enabled us to present the exhibition “Dolphin is my name” with the help of modern technologies,” said Ms. Cadjenovic.

From September 28th to October 6th, on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm, visitors will have the opportunity to discover why dolphins represent a marvel of evolution using multimedia content (VR technology, interactive multimedia, etc.). The exhibition will highlight how human activities threaten marine mammals, whales, and dolphins, in the world’s seas and the Adriatic. Visitors will be able to see a life-size model of an adult dolphin and a calf, learn about the biology and taxonomy of whales and dolphins, and find out a series of other information through educational panels. Also, all interested parties will have the chance to virtually dive into the ocean depths using virtual reality glasses.
